How many journals will we see of this? The new dA version. I sampled it before as a BETA tester for like 10 minutes, then went back. Unfortunately, I dont have that option any more.
The main problem, the message system. It now takes so much longer to do messages than before, and it is more complicated in it's layout.
Stupidly, comments are now seperated into 'feedback' and 'replies', as if I give a damn. I just wanna have all my messages in one place.
The deviations is the worst thing. By default, it sorts by the date a deviation was posted. Now I cannot select a bunch of deviations and click 'delete selected', even though the 'delete selected' button remains there. I cannot select all from a group for example and delete, I have to manually do it. The deviations are now bordered by unnecessary squares that take up too much room. I also don't see the icon of the artist who produced the work, and thats how I recognise alot of the people I watch. It is just very poorly laidout in my opinion.
The whole customizable bars are flashy things to distract you when they dont make any difference at all. I didnt find the searching to be any faster than usual either.
Sure, I have only logged on for 30 mins, most of the time has been spent going 'WTF is this!?' It would be great if an option was to go back to any dA version you wanted...there was nothing wrong with 5. Maybe the layout will grow on me...but since it takes longer to do stuff than before, I doubt it.

40 fighters signed up for AFL2, so we have nearly beat the record from the previous AFL.
If you want to be a judge, or got any ideas for the AFL, let me know and it's something I can consider. Even if you are not taking part fighting, is there a fun thing you can do to take part?
July's Theme is... AFL Poster! If you are in the AFL, make a promotional poster with your character in it promoting themselves and the AFL.
If you are not in the AFL, maybe you can make a poster with one of your favourite characters taking part...maybe your dream match of characters going face to face, maybe incorporate AngelCrusher into it. Or you can have your character supporting the AFL as a fan.

i'm not stressed about work yet. still gotta graduate first, then i'll worry about it more. Technically we are still owed a summer, and we got the masters to fall back on. Not really looking forward to graduation though. gonna look stupid and being in the spotlight with name called out and shit...not my idea of fun.
