Yay! I finally got round to colour it. Check out the inked drawing if you wanted to see what it was like without colour.[link] .
I had fun colouring this. It was great! As soon as I just put on the base colours of red and blue, I was excited. One of my drawings actually looking like Spiderman! ^^ The colouring took about 2 nights to do, and I tried my best to get little highlights and shadows on him. I never been so in depth with it before, because my photoshop stuff usually ain't that great. But am pleased with the results here.
The background is taken from Alex Ross' amazing painting work from the Batman graphic Novel War on Crime. The Spiderman is just the enlarged outline and base colours, but with opacity crenked up loads. I typed Spiderman at the bottom just to fill the blank space.
Any comments are welcome. Infact, I beg you for comments. Please! Am I doing good here? Are there things I should be trying? Something I did wrong? I like comments, hope you like the art.
(Damn that sounded cheesey.)
5 or 6 years I think. I referenced it from an Ultimate Spiderman comic cover all that time ago but have no idea now which one it was.
Do you charge something when you colour a page for someone?
