Captain America redesign

is holding a monthly jam on redesigning captain america, and I loved the idea to jump aboard. I wanted more of a realistic, gritty feel to the character, try avoiding bright colours and lots of blue.

With Captain America dead, America was in need of a new hero to go under the name. Not to disrespect the hero, but to honour the name and keep morale o the country up. The world in a new age of war, and with Captain America's death, the troops felt unmotivated to fight.
The a stranger steps up, a rough around the edges fellow, but absolute no nonsense. On his flak jacket is a painted star and stripes, and he supports a version of the iconic shield of Captain America's. He bellows orders at the troops, who think its a joke. Until in his rage, he throws a tank towards the opposition and repeats the same order, telling them he wont repeat himself ever again. The troops are in awe, inspired, and terrified. They follow his orders, and a new Captain America is born...
