1920s Character Designsby *AngelCrusher

Part of a project for the day was to design a bunch of characters in a 1920s design, that have a resembalance to the classic mickey mouse, oswald rabbit and felix the cat style. Fun to draw in this style.

I added colour. I did desaturate it to make it just grayscale, but i think I liked the faded colour better.

haha i guess i can see some similarities in that its a little guy with small black eyes, but yeh, this is kinda how designs were done of old animation characters with their proportions. The fallout dude (dunno the name, havent played it) is like a retro design, so perhaps he was inspired by the same era.

It was fun. Wasn't much of a project as such. We had a lecture which is kinda our 'contextual studies', and then was asked to draw some designs...so it was only a nights work. Would be nice to animate I would imagine.
